SYNOPSIS:

Beautiful Su-jun (Son Ye-jin), cossested by her devoted father, meets Chol-su (Jung Woo-sung) a carpenter in her father’s employment. They meet, fall in love and marry, but their picture perfect life become less perfect when they discover that Su-jin has Alzheimer’s disease.

SYNOPSIS:


Min-su, a playboy who believes that there's no such thing as true love and it's all just a game, can't stand even a single relationship that continues on for long. However, fate leads him to a dazzling beauty, Hye-won, who had just escaped from an oppressive hospital. She makes a strong impression on him. Later, chased by a nurse, Hye-won sneaks into the men's room at the hospital and their second encounter takes place. Soon Min-su becomes totally captivated by this bold woman. At first Hye-won resists their love, fearing that losing her to her terminal illness will hurt Min-su too much.

SYNOPSIS:


“The Classic” begins with college student Ji-hae (Son Ye-jin) cleaning house and stumbling across a box containing an old diary and some love letters belonging to her mother. Though some of the letters are from her late father, Ji-hae’s interest is piqued when she sees some letters written by a man named Joon-ha (Jo Seung-woo). The then jumps back about four decades to detail the love triangle that between Ji-hae’s mother Joo-hee (also played by Son Ye-Jin), her future father Tae-su (Lee Ki-woo), and Tae-su’s best friend Joon-ha. Though Joo-hee fell in love with Joon-ha after a chance meeting in the countryside, she was already betrothed to Tae-su in an arranged marriage.
Meanwhile, in the present, Ji-hae has some romantic entanglements of her own to out. She is in love with Sang-min (Jo In-seong), the boyfriend of her narcissistic best friend Soo-kyeong (Lee Sang-in), yet finds herself unable to express her true feelings. As the story moves from past to present and back again, parallels are drawn between the heartbreak, lessons learned, and travails of mother and daughter, whose destinies are inextricably intertwined.
